Day 1: Conditioning & Power Development
Athletes will focus on building the foundation needed for stronger, more explosive pitching. This session will include:
Pitcher-specific conditioning drills
Lower body and core strength development
Explosive movement and power training
Arm care and recovery routines
Proper body mechanics and movement efficiency
Players will learn how strength, balance, and athletic movement translate directly into increased velocity and improved endurance in the circle.
Day 2: Spin & Pitch Movement
Day two is dedicated to developing spin efficiency and understanding pitch movement. Athletes will work on:
Spin generation and wrist action
Grip development and finger pressure
Creating tighter rotation and movement
Pitch control / location and consistency
Drills designed to improve pitch effectiveness
Coach will break down the mechanics behind different pitch movements while helping athletes gain a better understanding of how spin impacts performance.
