Softball Fielding & Hitting Clinic with Lindsey Baron

Join former DI & DIII Middle Infielder and Outfielder Lindsey Baron for extra reps focused on defensive fundamentals and offensive power.

Athletes will work on:

  • Clean glove work and footwork fundamentals

  • Infield and outfield mechanics

  • Quick transfers and strong, accurate throws

  • Hitting mechanics and barrel control

  • Power development and situational approach

Players will receive high-level instruction, competitive reps, and personalized feedback to help elevate their game on both sides of the ball.

About Lindsey Baron:

Lindsey Baron is a 2022 Monmouth University graduate, where she earned her degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Biology and played Division I softball. She was a 4 year starter for the Hawks playing short stop and center field. Lindsey is a 1x MAAC Conference Champion, 2x MAAC Regular Season Champion, 2019 Rookie of the Year, 2x All-MAAC First Team selection, 1x NFCA Third Team All-Region selection, 1x All-ECAC Second Team selection, 1x MAAC Preseason Player of the Year, 1x Preseason All-MAAC Team selection, and 2x MAAC All-Academic Team selection.

In 2019 Lindsey set a program record for doubles in a single season with 21 and was ranked 2nd in the NCAA, she also holds the record for career doubles at Monmouth with 50. She is ranked third in program history for homeruns in a single season with 12 and runs scored in a single season with 51.

Lindsey finished her career playing Division III softball for NYU in her 5th year and received her degree in Nursing. In her single season with the Violets she started at short stop and lead the team in BA, OPS, runs, hits, and doubles. She was selected to the All-UAA team.

Before college she attended St. John Vianney High School and was a four year varsity starter, playing short stop and outfield. She earned 3x First Team All-Shore selections, was the 2017 Division Player of the year, 3x First Team All-Division selections, 3x All-Monmouth County Team selections, 2x First Team All-State, and 2018 Senior All-Stars Team selection. Her St. John Vianney teams have won four division championships, four Monmouth County championships, 2017 Shore Conference Championship, 2018 South Non-Public A Sectional Champions and 2018 NJSIAA Non-Public A State Champions.

Since finishing her softball career Lindsey is now a Cardiothoracic ICU nurse at NYU Langone in Manhattan. She continues her love for the game through coaching and mentoring young players with her involvement with the Akademy!
